Best value for money of all the hotels I've stayed in Lang Suan street. The newly renovated rooms are great. Excellent value for money. The other rooms are a bit outdated, but still very comfy, clean and adequate. Was here with my girlfriend from 14 Feb to 18 Feb The reason that made me book this hotel was its very competitive price on Agoda. Don't think there are much hotels as cheap and as strategically located as Ibis Siam.

We were given a room on the top floor of the hotel and the rooms were nice and cosy. Just nice for two people. The room looked new and smelled fresh. Toilets were just nice as well mainly because both of us aren't big-sized.
Bigger sized individuals might find manoevuering in the toilet a little tricky and squeezy. Our only complaint was that there was constant drilling and knocking on the 17th floor due to construction and tooth brush and tooth paste were not provided.
Having a hotel literally next to the BTS was a total charm. After a long day out in the city, the last thing you want to do is carry your luggage a few hundred metres or more to your hotel. We just had to come down a flight of stairs from the bts station and voila The deal we booked did not include breakfast was expecting the staff to be kind enough to offer it complimentary but alas, they did not - not a big issue to me though.
We had our breakfast every day at a thai local eatery just next to the hotel at pranee building. They are open every day except sundays.
The staff was helpful and command of english was adequate. Concierge was particularly helpful in recommending places to visit Even though we had places we wanted to go in mind , as well as efficient in hailing taxis for us.
All in all, a very comfortable and happy stay Would definitely come back to Ibis Siam the next time i'm in Bangkok. We stayed a 5th Floor, Room We will definitely come back here. God bless Thailand! Stylish and comfortable design in every corner and the overall space. The room layout is efficient, even the smallest standard room feeling spacious and comfortable. The facilities in room, closet area, toilet and bathroom are all well arranged, easy to use.
The only negative is the price, it's really expensive than the other 5 star hotel in Bangkok. But I really love this hotel for almost everything, will visit again. This was truly a find on the Agoda booking site for Bangkok. It is a 5 star hotel with 3 star pricing. We visit Bangkok often and usually stay in the upper Sukhumvit area, but this time we had some shopping and business to do near the area where the Sukosol is located before going to Bangkok international airport, so I picked the Sukosol.
First, I couldn't believe t First, I couldn't believe the low price for a room in a 5 star hotel with very good reviews, but they were not wrong.
This hotel is comfortable, clean, has great staff and overall service and importantly to us, it was a 5 minute walk to the Skytrain Airport Link that whisks you to Suvarnabhumi airport a lot faster and cheaper than a Bangkok taxi can.
The only downside is that the location is not great for walking in the immediate vicinity for food and shopping, but it is close to the BTS Skytrain that will take you to most tourist sections of Bangkok.
We will definitely stay there again. My husband and I, together with our friends, another couple, had just arrived at Bangkok after disembarking the Diamond Princess. Our driver took us around the back roads, through a shopping centre car park and drove up what appeared to be a lane way, to the entry of Siam Siam. Our friends, who have stayed in Bangkok before, initially thought we were in the middle of nowhere and I, who had organised the accommodation, was feeling sick!
It didn't take long to realise this new not refurbished boutique hotel was "unique". We were hardly out of the car when greeted by staff who asked our names and accompanied us to the lifts and all the way to the Executive Check In on Level The next time we saw our luggage was in our room. Again, a bit of a surprise as we sat in lounge chairs adjacent to an office type desk to complete the necessary paperwork and were asked if we would like coffee or juice or something to eat.
This area proved to be not only the check-in and out point for those staying on the Executive Levels, but also the area for those wanting a continental breakfast included and for evening Cocktails - yes, you are provided complimentary access to a full bar together with canapes from 6pm to 8pm in an area overlooking the setting sun. The night we arrived we just relaxed with our friends enjoying the drinks, canapes and outlook and didn't remember to have dinner.
Don't forget we had just disembarked from a 21 day cruise where we hadn't stopped eating. This was just perfect for us! I booked a suite at this hotel for 2 nights and the service was very good. The location is very central and it is just next to the Erawan Shrine so it is very easy for us to access the shopping belt area.
We didn't really want to explore much outside, especially we came from Khao yai back to Bangkok so it was just shopping, kidzania, eating and lazing around. Overall, this is a very good hotel with fantastic club lounge facilities. The location was really good, it's just a 5 minutes walk to the ratchathewi BTS station which is also nearby all the shopping places.
Staff there were very friendly and kind, gave us a bear for Valentine's Day! The street stalls near the BTS is rly good, and there are several nearby. Check in and out was very quickly done. Thankfully we got a room at the first l Thankfully we got a room at the first level, thus didn't need to climb the stairs. The room was really comfortable, except that we had mosquitoes and flies in the room, not a lot but But then agn we realized that it's not the hotel's fault as when we are outside we had mosquitoes and flies flying around as well.
Hotel was in rly good condition despite being a three star hotel, it felt more like a villa except that it's near the road. Had a lot of street stalls outside the hotel selling at rly rly cheap prices that tasted extremely good. Siam Swana is definitely recommended for the service, location and rooms, since the price is cheap as well, any flaws could be covered. Will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I go Bangkok! We were a group of 9 people who came for two days and a half to Bangkok after attending the wedding of our sister in Koh Samui Island.
For such a short stay in Bangkok, the hotel location allowed us to benefit as much as possible from the city. The metro is just next doo The metro is just next door, the night market is 10 minutes away and all the most important and biggest shopping malls are just of walking distance. The MBK mall is great for those who love shopping and do not want to pay a lot. The other two malls that are just across the street from the hotel are a bit expensive.
The breakfast was a beautiful experience with a rich variety of food from different countries. The hotel concierge was always available to help us organising tours and booking taxis. We really enjoyed our stay at Intercontinental Bangkok and highly recommend it. This is the one of the best hotels I have stayed be it in overseas or in my own country. I think the hotel is rated 3 stars, but has the service of a 5 stars hotel. The service is excellent — checking-in was smooth, the staff were friendly, attentive, accommodating, and helpful.
They even gave a good suggestion to take the boat taxi to Pratunam instead of taking the taxi due to the heavy traffic in the vicinity. The design of the room is cool and modern and is designed for the convenience of its occupants.
The bedding is clean and comfortable. I believe this hotel supply the best slippers in the room! I hope to stay in this hotel again when I come back to Bangkok for my next visit. With that being said, I do hope they will keep up with their excellent job in keeping the hotel in the same conditions in the years to come. This was the second time I have stayed at the Pullman and once again it didn't disappoint. Don't be put off by it's location as I'm sure many are as it isn't directly around the MBK and Siam shopping areas or close to Sukhumvit Road.
I stayed in an Exectuive Room and it was clean an I stayed in an Exectuive Room and it was clean and comfortable. I made full use of the iPod dock. It was what you would expect of a five star hotel room.
My only criticism was that there was no powerpoint in the bathroom. Mouthwash in the toiletry kit was a nice touch. The Executive Club was fantastic and we made full use of it. The food was plentiful and some nights that provided us with our evening meal. What did impress me was the quality of the staff in the Executive Club, they were conversational without being too pushy and the cream on top was when they made, upon request, an espresso martini which wasn't on the drink menu.
We also utlised the free item of laundry each day and it was back the same day by around 6pm. The pullman has a great pool area and you could be mistaken for being in the middle of Bangkok at times. The breakfast is the standard buffet fare.
Overall I really enjoy staying at the Pullman and it is my preferred place to stay when in Bangkok. Stayed at hotel for several nights and it was a very nice place to be, had a club lounge room at 19th floor, nice and clean room with a nice view of the Bangkok skyline.
One of the benefits to the hotel is that it is rather new, about 3 years, and also slightly removed from the traffic, therefore not any noise from traffic. Nice small food and the service are really top!
About facilities at the hotel; just tried one restaurant, the Italian restaurant LaTavola, and it have very nice food, but as always at hotels, a little pricy. Gym at top floor is good and a nice place to work out with better equipment then many other hotels. About service: Service at this hotel is very good. I must say that service level on this hotel is one of the best I have experienced. Nice and friendly staff and I for sure recommend this hotel. A very clean and nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff, cozy and big room.
The room is very spacious and everything looks new. Comfortable bed and pillows. It comes with free Internet access. The hotel staff are very helpful when it comes to queries about location and places of interest. They provide really useful information. The taxis at the hotel use meter whenever we go to and do not anyhow charge. It is close to malls, restaurants, street shopping and office complexes in Central Bangkok. Walking distance to a lot of main shopping malls and street shopping.
Although the swimming pool is small, it is quite nice and peaceful and there's a jacuzzi area for a great relaxation. The breakfast buffet is good at the Momo Cafe and the staff are very accommodating, heating up croissants, etc. The equipment in the gym is top rate and it all looks new. The best part is the swimming pool and gym are open 24 hours for hotel guests. The only problem is that most taxi drivers have no idea where this hotel is despite having a map with the hotel name in Thai but the driver still messed up.
Even when we had the hotel card in Thai, most taxi drivers do not know where the hotel is. It is best to say you are going to the Four Seasons Hotel and guide them to Marriott. All taxi drivers know where that hotel is. Overall, we couldn't think of any unpleasant experience with this hotel or have any negativity towards this hotel.
Will definitely stay with this hotel again! Me and my cousins spent 4 days 3 nights in Bangkok last weekend, and I luckily found this hotel first at another online booking, but i later found it cheaper in Agoda!
Not much different from the photo, the hotel condition is just the same. I booked a m2 suite its huge i can tell you very spacious for 4 persons 3 girls and 1 boy , and we got 2 bedrooms and 2 b It is a hotel.
Cleanliness is on top of my mind when i first visiting this hotel, also on the next days. But the king bed is not very comfortable. And the shower i think its too slow. I dont know they told they have hairdryer but i cant found it no problem because we already bring it.
We didnt book for breakfast so no comments for that. It's in front of MBK, and next to 7eleven, go straight, the hotel is in a dead end. PS: Near this hotel you can found Reno Restaurant and they sell tom yum goong which is the best tom yum we're ever taste! Many of hotels can provide better rooms and facilities for 2 persons, but seldom for groups of 4. Overall I'm happy by the service and facilities that Patumwan House gave us. Our top picks.
Nearest to. See all. Show more. Excellent reviews. Avg price per night. SGD Check availability. Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. Hansar Bangkok Hotel. Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok. Breakfast offered limited selections but the menu items were carefully picked. Had a few hiccups during my stay but all was resolved quickly and efficiently.
Our recommendation is pick the Kimpton - we like it here far better! Exceptional 47 reviews. Sindhorn Midtown. Nothing specifically wrong per se, but the little details are just off. Price was great however, staff was great and location is also really nice. Not sure i would be back however at a normal price range i booked this on a great discount ".
Exceptional reviews. InterContinental Bangkok. Sindhorn Kempinski Bangkok. Good service and perfect location. Restaurant can do better. I ordered with my wife. My food came and 15 min later the other dish. Exceptional 53 reviews. Only downside would be the lower room types it states bath AND shower separate - however, it's a shower in a bathtub unfortunately - something that we try to avoid, so this was a mis-sell. Receptionists were very apologetic and said it wasn't the first time. Very good reviews.
Bliston Suwan Parkview Hotel. A plus for this hotel is they also have a laundry machine so it was so easy and comfortable for us. Thank you I will difinitely be back once my vacation leave granted. Centre Point Hotel Chidlom. The staff was very friendly. They were quick to answer any questions about the local area. This was extremely helpful.
The room was as comfortable as any four star hotel and the ammeneties added to the comfort of the room. The refrigerator and the microwave made the need for quick and easy breakfasts and lunches. The purpose of the stay in Bangkok was to accomplish some visa documents at the Royal Dutch embassy and it was only a five minute walk to the embassy so this was very convenient. There were no problems with the air conditioning and it was very hot outside, this is always important for comfort.
The staff allowed the use of their printer due to problems with the printer in the media center which was very helpful. Many hotels would not cater to their guests like this.
They would likely send you down the street to the local Internet cafe or printing company if even that. The management even allowed a late check out with no problem or additional fees. There is no doubt this hotel will be on the top of my list of places to stay while visiting Bangkok in the future.

She would love this in some girly colors and I think I have some laying around.
Thanks for sharing with us this just may become tomorrows project. My son and I went to the fabric store today and chose some fabric to make this with. I can't wait! He is psyched! Thanks for sharing this tutorial. I was so excited that I already made one today for my son. I bought my son a little tool kit for his bday, so I am definitely going to put this on my to-do list!
This is awesome. My son has a john deere tool belt…but you can never have too many tool belts right? My baby boy is Mmmm, but I do have some little nephews. Now to choose what fabric to use! My daughter is nuts about fixing things. For Christmas we got her a Handy Manny tool set. She loves it and uses the tools all the time.
I will be making her a girlie tool belt very soon. I am so excited about this post! We're having a Handy Manny tool party next month for my 3 year old and are making these…I was going to wing it but now I have something to follow! I love your blog. You have given me so many wonderful ideas at how I can get my creative juices flowing again!! I am nominating you for A Beautiful Blogger Award!
Please see my post for the details! Always need something for the grandsons… there's too many ideas for the girls. I knew I needed to make him one he's 4 when he was tucking his tools into his pants and "working". We love tool belts at our house. We made some out of placemats several weeks ago. I LOVE this idea for my little guy! I am always looking for ideas on what to do for him.
This one looks easy too. What a fabulous idea. This would be great for my little man too. I also thought this would be a great waitress apron for a boy or girl playing restaurant. Of course, you could leave off the hammer loop for the waitress, but I'd probably leave it on so they could use it for both purposes. Thanks for all your fabulous ideas.
I really enjoy reading your blog and getting creative sparks. I think that is adorable. It would make a great birthday gift too.
My little one seems to go to a lot of boy parties lately. Thanks for sharing! I just came across your blog today! Absolutely love it!!! What a talented gal you are! I love your tutorials! I'm going to have to give this fun belt a try. What a great idea! I seriously am in LOVE with your blog in a non-creepy way of course and my kids are hapy too with all the neat things I can make for them : Thank you Ashly!
I will be making this for my 2 year old to carry all of his cars in! He has about 4 favorites but he can't seem to carry all of them with his lovie too. This will be perfect! I really didn't want to have to make him a purse!
I LOVE all of your ideas! My little man is having a construction themed bday party this weekend.. I totally have to make this now!
I just love that…maybe one more gift to add to Lil D's upcoming birthday…if we have the tools out…he has his out:.
