Sold by deltasky87 Over 40 different objectives must be completed, ranging from simple seek-and-destroy to involved reconnaissance operations. Players can also enroll in "Boot Camp" to practice firing weapons and work on combat skills before embarking on a mission.
As in previous titles in the series, the action is played from a third-person perspective. A map in the corner of the screen will help players find their way to an objective. Members of the Tan Army will try to thwart your progress every step of the way, so keep an eye on your health meter to know when to stop fighting and search for a Medkit.
Also available on each level are ammo boxes to replenish your standard-issue M , bazookas, flamethrowers, and sniper rifles. Since you can't replenish ammo for the extra weapons, you'll have to take your shots carefully. Battle environments include real-world outdoor settings and indoor "alternate world" locales that include a giant bathroom, garden, sandbox, kitchen, and living room.
Besides firing at everything that moves, Sarge can crawl on his belly, kneel, roll on the ground and climb ladders. Every hit makes Sarge move a bit slower, so it's important to avoid gunfire at all costs. Seller Similar sponsored items. Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing.

Rating: 8. Although it's not very flashy set up alongside other N games, this game is still a classic worth playing. Although flawed, Army Men Sarges Heroes is a very fun shooter that N64 fans with lots of patience will love. Rating: 4. This game is so much fun! Who knew that plastic weapons could be so fun to use.
Sarge's Heroes is just like any other Army Men game. It sucks. Rating: 5. If you dont like to play games like this, in which the only good thing is the storyline, i recommend you to not buy it. You might turn around the corner of a barracks and confront an enemy unit, who will fire upon you immediately, but he won't come into view for a few seconds.
Or you could be in close quarters running around an opponent, trying to face him to get a shot off, and it might take three turns to get it just right. You probably won't need to get close to too many troops, though, since the autotargeting is set so you can pick off enemies situated in towers simply by firing in their general direction.
That was in place in Army Men 3D, but you weren't really able to get away with just running around blasting opposing forces because you'd get eaten up by machine-gun fire. Now, while enemies still fall with one shot, your character is a lot tougher, and health-restoring power-ups can be found all over the place.
It's true the first title was harder than it needed to be, but the sequel is easy to the point where the main challenge lies in dealing with the camera. Your character now has a nice plasticine look that wasn't in the PlayStation game, but otherwise, the graphics in Sarge's Heroes are pretty poor.
